Facebook against discrimination in advertising. #FB

On Friday 3 July, mark Zuckerberg made an announcement, where it was stated that in the advertising campaigns on the Facebook platform will be completely prohibited discriminatory statements and positions of hatred. In addition, the social network will highlight those posts that may be useful for the society and will not violate company policy.

 

On his page on Facebook, mark Zuckerberg wrote, “We are expanding our policy regarding advertising is to deny the assertion that the people of a particular race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, caste, sexual orientation, gender identity or immigration status pose a threat to the safety, health or the existence of others.” In addition, Zuckerberg said that sometimes the company does not remove posts in violation of Facebook policy, however, provided that their social importance is much higher, causing moral harm to minorities.
